What is Smart Growth?

Smart Growth takes place when communities offer people of varying age,
wealth and physical ability a range of safe, affordable, convenient
choices where they live and how they get around.

For some of you Smart Growth may be a fairly new concept and others may be very familiar with it.  We'd like to encourage everyone to participate in this forum and help increase understanding and ideas for helping communities encompass principles of Smart Growth combined with Active Aging
