"Exercise could be the heart's fountain of youth," (Eurekalert
[American Association for the Advancement of Science], July 23, 2008).
A recent study conducted at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, found that older adults that did "endurance exercise training for about a year ended up with metabolically much younger hearts." Their research also found that women benefited more than men from the training by one metabolic measure.
