Trust for America’s Health Releases Report Revealing Major Cost Savings for Disease Prevention
The Trust for America’s Health recently released a report titled:
Prevention for a Healthier America: Investments in Disease Prevention Yield Significant Savings, Stronger Communities.
The report examines how much the country could save by strategically investing in community disease prevention programs. The study demonstrates that an investment of $10 per person per year in proven community-based programs can generate a return of $5.60 for every $1 spent.
